Galdos is affiliated with a number of standards organizations and non-profit associations that support the development of standards and provide training to the community. Galdos has been closely involved in developing a number of standards, and serves on various technical committees to develop and approve new standards and versions of existing standards.

The Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc (OGC) is an international industry consortium of 319 companies, government agencies and universities participating in a consensus process to develop publicly available interface specifications. OpenGIS® Specifications support interoperable solutions that “geo-enable” the Web, wireless and location-based services, and mainstream IT. The specifications empower technology developers to make complex spatial information and services accessible and useful with all kinds of applications. |

OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards) is a not-for-profit, international consortium that drives the development, convergence, and adoption of e-business standards. The consortium produces more Web services standards than any other organization along with standards for security, e-business, and standardization efforts in the public sector and for application-specific markets. Founded in 1993, OASIS has more than 5,000 participants representing over 600 organizations and individual members in 100 countries. |
