GeoWeb 2007 Conference Welcomes Autodesk as a New Platinum Sponsor

Vancouver, B.C., May 8, 2007—GeoWeb 2007 conference
organizers are pleased to announce that Autodesk Inc., San Rafael,
Calif., has agreed to be a platinum sponsor of GeoWeb 2007, the highest
level of sponsorship for the conference.

GeoWeb 2007, which will take place on July 23-27, 2007, at the Morris J. Wosk
Centre in Vancouver, Canada, is the only conference focused exclusively
on the convergence of GIS and the Internet. The conference welcomes
both public and private organizations to meet, discuss, and learn about
today’s most innovative geospatial technologies.


In addition to sponsorship, Autodesk is actively participating in this
year’s conference. Firstly, Autodesk is instructing a six-hour
intensive workshop titled, Creating Web 2.0 Applications on an Open Source Geospatial Platform. Furthermore, Autodesk will be presenting a paper called CAD, GIS, BIM Convergence: Integrating Geospatial with Architectural, Infrastructure, and Engineering Design Data. Lastly,

on Thursday, July 26, 2007.
