Account Manager
Galdos Systems Inc. is currently looking to add an Account Manager to its team.
Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, enthusiastic, results oriented
account management and sales professional who is comfortable working at
the "bleeding edge" of technology. Reporting to the Director of Sales,
the Account Manager, North American markets will be responsible for
growing and expanding Galdos Systems presence with our major customers
in the system integration and government markets within Canada and the
United States. S/he will be the primary point of contact within Galdos
and will be responsible for: customer satisfaction; sales growth within
the named accounts; and expanding Galdos' presence to other
strategically high value accounts. This position requires regular
travel through out North America.
Responsibilities
• Grow Galdos Systems presence within our existing customer base by
expanding business opportunities for our existing products and services
• Identify, pursue and close strategic opportunities with new customers in selected vertical markets
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure that Galdos
remains the "go to" organization for GML and Web Services related
business
• Be able to perform initial customer needs analysis in a complex and dynamic environment
• Coordinate response for RFPs for his/her customers
Requirements
• 5 to 7 years of progressively increasing account management responsibilities in the North American marketplace
• proven track record of leveraging existing customers to deliver additional follow-on business
• proven track record in customer needs analysis and solution selling
• understanding of GIS and/or XML/GML and web services technology
• comfortable in a rapidly evolving technical environment
• strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree
