What I am having difficulty finding out is the order of the ordinates. In your examples above are these coordinates lat/long or long/lat. I am currently trying to produce an oracle database table holding the geometry as both the GML in an XMLType and as SDO_GEOMETRY. SDO_Geometry holds ordinates as long/lat for SR_ID 4326 but the GML source date seems to be lat/long (not sure if this correct order). I am going to request clarification from Oracle as well as when I use the function SDO_UTIL.fromGML311Geometry the coordinates do not seem to get reversed. First though I need to know for certain what order the ordinates are listed.
Many thanks
