Galdos Systems uses both proprietary and partner technologies to deliver solutions to organizations and municipalities around the world. These case studies show examples of what Galdos has done in previous projects, how the Galdos technologies have been used to deploy solutions for customers, and how Galdos leverages the expertise of the team.

Shell Oil & OGP Geodetic Parameter Registry

Shell Oil and the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (OGP) selected INdicio™ as the base technology when they wanted to build a new Geodetic Parameter Registry.

Institut Cartogràphic de Catalunya

ICC selected INdicio to support the IDEC web portal, and INtune to harvest resources from existing systems.

NATO/NC3A

Galdos was part of the consortium that was awarded the Core GIS Data Preparation project.

OGC Web Services Testbed

As part of the ongoing series of testbeds for OGC Web Services (OWS), Galdos has contributed to a number of OWS phases. In phases 6 and 7, Galdos contributed to the Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) thread, working with AIXM 4.5 and 5.1 data.

UK Met Office

Galdos worked with the UK Met Office to provide both technology and components.

UK Ministry of Defence

Galdos has developed a number of GML Schemas for the UK MOD.

Galdos, working with partner company Envitia, deployed a proof-of-concept SDI for the Geospatial Intelligence Integrated Reference Architecture (GI2RA) interoperability project.

ArRiyadh Base Map Update

Galdos deployed an SDI network to enable participating agencies from the ArRiyadh Development Authority in the City of Riyadh to share their base map and manage updates to its shared features.

Data Interchange for Geotechnical and GeoEnvironmental Specialists Schema Audit

Galdos and Compusult consulted with the Data Interchange for Geotechnical and GeoEnvironmental Specialists (DIGGS) to conduct a schema audit and review. Galdos delivered a report outlining suggested improvements for more efficient data sharing, as did Compusult. A synthesis of the findings in both reports provided a summary of the findings and made recommendations for improvement. Galdos was then contracted to do further application schema development.
