Geography Markup Language

Geography Markup Language (GML) is the core encoding for geographical data delivered through Open Standards based GeoWeb services. The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) awarded Ron Lake the Gardels Medal for his contributions to the creation and development of GML. Ron Lake has co-authored a book on GML.

GeoWeb Conferences

Galdos hosts the annual GeoWeb Conference in Vancouver each summer. Invited speakers and industry professionals come together for a week of tutorials and presentation sessions to learn from and share with each other. Courses

Galdos offers a number of courses related to GML and the GeoWeb, with durations ranging from half day workshops to two or three day sessions. Additional courses have been developed on specific topics and are available on request. Galdos also develops customized courses for specific projects or customers as needed. Comprehensive training and support is available for all Galdos products and related technologies.
