Galdos Systems has built a number of proprietary online web map solutions and customized animated 3D maps for customers. The implementations used various technologies such as Flash and JavaScript, or the Google Earth and Google Maps API.
Galdos has developed several technologies for working with 3D models and visualizating data. 2D imagery and 3D data are combined to create virtual environments in applications built on the IN3D™ Visualization Engine. Private or public globes are used by the INfuse™ Spatial Services Framework to create a collaborative environment that is intuitive and familiar. The INdicio™ Web Registry provides storage, indexing, and search capabilities.
Galdos developed the IN3d Visualization Engine as a core technology for developing applications for working with three-dimensional data such as CityGML. IN3d supports visualization of 3D models of cities, fusing the three-dimensional data with two-dimensional imagery to create a rich interactive environment.
INfuse Spatial Services Framework is another Galdos technology that supports the development of applications that visualize 2D imagery and 3D data. INfuse visualizes KML layers and other data on public or private digital globes. Private digital globes are built by fusing proprietary data onto the globe to provide customized environment.
INfuse supports classification of data according to standards such as the Common Alerting Protocol (CAP), and adds tools for publishing data, and searching for and displaying published data on the globe. INdicio Web Registry stores the links to KML files, supports the publishing capabilities, and
