Components

Galdos Systems components provide additional functionality as needed for a solution. Galdos components include INstyle™ Feature Portrayal Service, INfuse™ Spatial Services Framework, IN3d™ Visualization Engine, and INterchange™ Schema Mapper.

INstyle™ Feature Portrayal Service

INstyle (formerly known as FreeStyler™) is an Open Standards based solution for web-based mapping and display of GML data. INstyle provides the full functionality of a Web Map Service (WMS) and includes a graphical Map Style Editor and thin client Map Viewer. The transformation of GML data into graphics is enabled through the use of extensible stylesheet language transformations (XSLT). INstyle can access data held within INdicio or any CSW ebRIM based registry and it can style data from any Web Feature Service (WFS).

INfuse™ Spatial Services Framework

INfuse is a framework for developing applications that brings together the ease-of-use of mass market tools such as Google Earth and Microsoft Virtual Earth with the ability to fuse public and private data and imagery into a customized globe. INfuse leverages the power of the INdicio Web Registry to provide a framework for building applications that allow users to interact and collaborate. INfuse can use either public globes or private globes as the base for additional layers of custom data and imagery.

IN3d™ Visualization Engine

IN3d is a visualization engine that can be used as a framework for building applications for viewing three-dimensional data such as CityGML. IN3d brings together two-dimensional imagery and fuses it with three-dimensional data to create a virtual environment that can be interactively queried by the user. Contextual data and search results can be integrated into the application to customized the resulting user experience.

INterchange™ Schema Mapper

INterchange is a schema mapping tool that supports mapping between GML, XML, and relational database schemas. INterchange is designed to allow users to save their work and return as many times as necessary to complete the mapping process. INterchange creates XSLT transformation scripts on demand from the schema mapping file. Mapping files can be updated and transformation scripts generated until the desired mapping is complete and correct.
