Galdos is affiliated with a number of standards organizations and non-profit associations that support the development of standards and provide training to the community. Galdos has been closely involved in developing a number of standards, and serves on various technical committees to develop and approve new standards and versions of existing standards.

Galdos is an Associate member of the Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc (OGC). OGC is an international industry consortium of 532 companies, government agencies, and universities participating in a consensus process to develop publicly available interface standards. OGC® Standards support interoperable solutions that “geo-enable” the Web, wireless and location-based services, and mainstream IT. The standards empower technology developers to make complex spatial information and services accessible and useful with all kinds of applications.
ISO logo Galdos is a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards. ISO is a network of the national standards institutes from 163 countries, one member per country. ISO is a non-governmental organization, but many of its members are part of the governmental structure of their countries, or are mandated by their government, while other members have their roots uniquely in the private sector. Because of this, ISO forms a bridge between the public and private sectors and enables a consensus to be reached on solutions that meet both the requirements of business and the broader needs of society.
